Hello fellow HFCC crunchers,
----------------------------------------I joined WCG about a week ago and started crunching mainly HFCC to hunt for badges :) Gold badge coming up soon! :) (Yay! Gold badge is there!) Anyway, I've had several machines turn up errors in the result status. In total I've had 15 of them from 7 different machines. The worst of them scored 4 errors out of 8 returned results (of the others 2 are valid, and 2 pending validation). Could this be machine trouble, or is the HFCC project prone to causing errors? How could I check whether it's the machines that are causing the problems or something else?

Hello Cureseekers.Albantar,
Up to 50% errors in HFCC! That is definitely not normal. When you click on a error result on the Results Status page, what does it say? Lawrence |

I think the machines in question might be overheating. The problem is that I won't be on the site where they are for another two weeks, so I'm afraid they'll have to continue throwing up errors from time to time until I can dust them out! :D

Cheers. Jean. |
