It's 9:20 in DC. Someone forgot to bring the attitude adjuster to work, for the xml data is stale at 13:20 UTC What about now? My stats looked okay a couple of hours now. |

Looks like things are getting worse again.
----------------------------------------It's now 10pm PST, 5h after cutoff, and it still has the 0 minutes, 0 seconds message. By this time the last few days, the stats were through. Ralf |

11:22pm, and still nothing...
----------------------------------------I think this started happening a couple of days after the last "Planned Maintenance" on May 1st (https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/about_us/viewNewsArticle.do?articleId=594) and would be surprised if there is NOT a relation between those OS updates that supposedly were to be made and the stats run now running bonkers... Since it's 7:30 GMT (8:30 BST) they are very late so I conclude that my stats are on holiday, probably lying on a beach in the Mediterranean.
----------------------------------------They certainly aren't on the WCG stats page, or perhaps the contributions page is the next one to be "improved" now the research page has been done. Perhaps that's why there are no useful figures showing. [Edit 2 times, last edit by widdershins at May 31, 2019 7:30:42 AM] |

The word 'pathetic' has crossed my mind, now 7:30 UTC. Xml data is there, which puts you at ease, then when scraping the all important device statistics and profiles, you know WCG, where we set the project choices, NADA. Thumbs down on this showing.
----------------------------------------Edit: The puzzling thing is that global stats & history is ready with proper timestamp Statistics Last Updated: 5/31/19 00:06:02 (UTC) [8 hour(s) ago] with seemingly the proper numbers 05/31/2019 2:209:10:07:09 4,395,850 6,693 05/30/2019 586:079:20:28:13 1,014,366,757 1,550,137 Matching numbers on the overview page Yesterday: Total Run Time (y:d:h:m:s) 586:079:20:28:13 Points Generated 1,014,366,757 Results Returned 1,550,137 [Edit 2 times, last edit by Former Member at May 31, 2019 8:24:42 AM] |

There must have been some kind of crash with the stats run today.
----------------------------------------Maybe the stats system has been taken off line to fix it. Or maybe the techs don't even realise there's a problem ... [Edit, 2 min after posting this] Stats are online again now. Any explanation? [/Edit] [Edit 1 times, last edit by Rickjb at May 31, 2019 8:23:26 AM] |

In someway I am shocked to read some ironic/aggressive remarks to the tech team for a non-vital issue like statistics.
----------------------------------------If the members would not be able to be fed timely and they would run dry, or if computed results would be irrecoverably lost, I would consider the issue being critical/vital. After 30+ years in process control and IT, I learned to set priority and to assess risks as adequately as possible. Statistics could represent a nice motivation, but it is nothing vital or related to money in anyway. Don't worry, don't be stressed, be relax and happy Yves |
