Folks, we are now #8 on the points list. We've been passed by a team of 5 members that generate about 1,000,000 points per day. Make sure you're running BOINC on your machines if possible. Keep as active on your crunching as you can. Everyone is crunching hard I know but we need help. Please tell your friends about WCG, get them crunching and sign them up with MOT! New team members will be new WCG crunchers in all likelihood.

Re: smile smile Join "MyOnlineTeam" Today - Chapter 17 smile smile

Folks, until the current problems get resolved, I'll be holding off on the reports I post here. Once things are back to normal, I'll resume and start with one report covering this whole time period in order to avoid any discrepancies and such.

For those of you runnig BOINC, I've offered my hopefully helpful suggestions in NEW Outage on Boinc Server

This will show just what kind of community we crunchers really are. As I said in my other post, this doesn't change the reasons we are here crunching. It may well show though how true our commitment is to those reasons.

We as a team have been dealing with a bit of our own trial. We have had some folks that have had to deal with real life a bit lately. Some continue to be able to crunch here. Others have not been able to do so. Yet, we've had other folks rise to the occasion. I thank each and every one of you for standing with us. Every single contribution matters regardless of size or magnitude. The core concept behind grid computing is that each individual effort combines to accomplish something quite significant. For you lurkers, thank you as well. As much as I would love to hear from more of you, what matters is that you crunch, not when, if or how much you post here. On any given day, we have 70-80 folks sending results back. We are steadily having about 100 folks sending results back in the past 30 days. Not all of us are able to crunch 24x7 but every single CPU second works towards pulling in sooner that day when we can say "We have a cure for that disease". MOT is alive and well despite rumors otherwise but more importantly, so is WCG.

I'd not make much of a politican but I do have to admit that I have the "hot air" of one. Brevity and conciseness are not my strong points wink What I do choose to believe is that others are very capable of meeting whatever expectations I may have of them so why set my expectations low? My own for myself are even higher. To my very large extended family out there (also known as mankind), I offer my heartfelt wish for new year that proves to be a source of much contentment.

To my very large extended family out there (also known as mankind), I offer my heartfelt wish for new year that proves to be a source of much contentment.

biggrin biggrin YOUR ELECTED! biggrin biggrin
You said it perfectly Keith!
Your are doing one he_ _ of a good job keeping this team current as to what is going on with the mover and shakersand everything else you do.
I know Graham is going to be proud of the excellent job you've been doing while he's been absent from the fold.
My hat is off to you!
For those of you who are quiet but crunching THANKS!!!
For those of you who have left the fold THANKS also!!
MOT is still in there kicking and screaming.
We may not be #5 or #6 or what ever, but were still moving froward to help find a cure.
CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who is a MOT member and a WCG member!!!!

Folks, until the current problems get resolved, I'll be holding off on the reports I post here. Once things are back to normal, I'll resume and start with one report covering this whole time period in order to avoid any discrepancies and such.

DITTOS---I think anyone that hasnt returned any results for 30 days should be dropped from the team--why be a member and not contribute personally im not much of a talker but some of you could get off your a-butts and post something--Merry Christmas
